• Know the strain

  • Type: Indica-dominant.
  • Genetics: Afghani and Thai ancestry.
  • Appearance: Usually compact, with dense, resin-rich flowers.
  • Aroma: Earthy and herbal, with subtle sweet or fruity notes.
  • Flowering time: 11–12 weeks for the seeds described here. The seedling and vegetative stages come before that, so the full journey takes longer.

  What to expect

  • Northern Light gIves physical relaxation, a calmer feeling and drowsiness.
  • Some people describe the heavier effects as “zombie-like.”
  • Effects depend on potency, amount used and individual tolerance.

  Medical potential

  • Pain: Some cannabis-based medicines provide modest relief for certain chronic pain conditions. Northern Light itself is not an established arthritis treatment.
  • Sleep: Drowsiness may occur, but feeling sleepy does not necessarily mean better sleep.
  • Anxiety and mood: Some people report temporary relaxation; others experience increased anxiety or paranoia. It does not eliminate depression or anxiety.
  • Seizures: Prescription purified CBD treats certain seizure disorders. That does not make this strain a seizure treatment.

• GROW JOURNEY

  • Germination: Place seed in slightly wet napkin.
  • Seedling: Once seed bursts. Place in small container
  • Vegetative growth: Roots, branches and foliage develop. Keep disease/parasites away at all costs
  • Flowering: Flowers form and mature over the 11-12 week period. Keep in cool area with cover from sun. Never place it hot sun at this stage
